              DAY 28 : 22 July 2024                 It's a new week again It's a Monday again and I had two consecutive hours at 8E and 9I. The remaining activities of the lesson A Shipwrecked Sailor were completed in 8E. Adjectives and its degrees of comparison were discussed in detail. The learners listened well and were active throughout the class. A 10 mark test was conducted for 9I students. The test consisted of two five mark discourse questions from the lessons Debts of Gratitude and Nothing Twice . I corrected the answer sheets the same day. The students had serious difficulty with handling the language. Most of them were unable to construct meaningful sentences and they lacked a proper base in English grammar.                  DAY 29 : 23 July 2024                   Observation day   I began the lesson Dreams...

              DAY 24 : 15 July 2024                 A new week begins Reached school by 9.10 am and marked the morning attendance. Headed to 8E for the first hour. The chapter A Shipwrecked Sailor was continued. I could barely complete a paragraph in the class. I could not teach anything that day because the students asked one thing after the other, completely unrelated to the lesson. Only a few lines of a paragraph were discussed in class. Question tags were taught in 9I class. Just like my class on Active and Passive voice, I taught them to write question tags using five simple steps. Most students still had difficulty with identifying the auxiliary verb, and the tense of sentences. I made them do exercises in class. All questions varieties were discussed.                 DAY 19 : 8 July 2024                    A Monday again !!! I reached school by 9.15 am and marked the morning attendance. I had two consecutive hours today at 8E and 9I. However, there was a program in the school auditorium that the 8th and 9th standard students had to attend. I thus lost both my hours today. The inauguration of YIP club was held at Cotton Hill School today. YIP is a newly formed club that works in collaboration with UNICEF and K-Disc, aimed at accelerating the innovation in children and turning their ideas to reality. The event was inaugurated by the Director of General Education, Mr. Shanavas S IAS. The head of K-disc and also the representatives of UNICEF India interacted with the learners.
