INVENTA 2023
The Physical Science department observed National Science Day as part of their Association programme. The event was named INVENTA 2023.
National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28 each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28 February 1928. For his discovery, Sir C.V. Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.
Harsha, I B.Ed student from Physical Science department, hosted the special assembly at the General Hall 2. The prayer song was rendered by Sandhya P S. Science News was presented by Lekshmi . Anupama and Keerthana handled the knowledge sharing sessions. Raman Effect was well presented in this session. The thought for the day was shared by Alfiya Phyrosh.
As part of Inventa 2023, a talk was organized on the topic "Accidental Discoveries in Science". Dr. Ajaykumar G, Assistant Professor, Government College for Women, was the resource person of the day. He talked on the topic with utmost clarity and expertise.
